Babies on the way!

I bred Silver City(chin) to Silverheels (chin) yesterday, and Shaelah (red) to Yukon (REW hiding choc tort, I think) this morning. Tomorrow, I will breed Santee (choc pearl) to Teton (pearl)

New baby

Mama brings her out each evening to graze in the backyard.  Baby deer race in big circles just like baby lambs do in the evening cool.

BFL Update

These are some of my "grandkids", bred and raised by the Bernhardt family in SW Ohio.  They are out of Somerhill stock with a strong Llwygy X1 influence, which I think shows in their conformation.

The "string of pearls" is growing up

The pearls are coming along. I can't get over how beautiful Clotile is. I am beginning to suspect she really is a blue pearl, but will wait for a while to decide. She is a smokey beige with silvery ears, while her sister Joli Blon is more of a charcoal color. And Del Rey, the buck, is more typically dark chocolate brown with creamy wool.

Update on California's kids

Sheridan and California's kids are 11 days old now. Just like clockwork - eyes are popping open.
There are 2 chocolate chinchillas, a chocolate agouti, and a black.
Right now, it looks like they could all be bucks.
I want one of the choc chins, and the others will be available pending evaluations.
One buck is already reserved.

3 month old daughter of Sheridan and Silver City.  She is a light chocolate chin, and I was
not sure I liked the color at first, but its growing on me.
