Halloween shows in Piketon OH

 Had a great time this weekend in Piketon OH.   On Saturday, I had 1st SR doe in both shows with 2 different does, winning legs for each.  On Sunday, I had BOB in Show A with Mid-knight Sun (red) and also BOV white with Knights in White Satin.  I did not have any placings of remark in Show B, but my Somerhill Remy was BOB for Ana Ederich.   In the Angora Specialty, Starry Starry Knight was BOV colored for a second leg.  There were 20+ Satin angoras shown over the weekend.   In the Wool/Skein/Garment competition, Allison Whitacre had best wool (Satin Angora), best skein (same SA wool spun into laceweight yarn), and Ana Ederich had garment with a 70/30 blend cowl.   Allison won BIS with her wool.

  Winnie just had 2 kits, 2 days late!   They look like they will be red/fawns, chocolate based, or possibly rews.

Looking for a little Spirit?

  Spirit is looking for a wooler home where she will be well cared for. 

 She is 11 months old, was registered, and has 2 GC legs.  I showed her very successfully this spring, but as she matures, she is getting too long and flat to make a good show rabbit.   She was sheared to the skin on August 8th and already has 2 + inches of wool.  Gorgeous sheen!  Price negotiable - I mostly am looking for a home with an experienced angora person who will love her and her wool.  EDITED to say:  This doe is not for breeding, and does not come with pedigree.

Springfield, OH show results

 The Springfield OH show went well today. (sorry, no pictures - some dummy left her camera at home) There were close to 20 Satin Angoras  shown.   In Show A, Joey Martin picked my white junior doe, Tsunami, as BOV and then BOS for her first leg!  Knight was BOSV in both shows.   We were first on the table for both Show A & B, so were done showing by 1:30PM.
