Rose Arbor Ellen

This is Ellen, sister to Ethne, who I posted earlier this month.  Ellen has 2 JR BOS legs in stiff competition.  She will show as a SR for the first time in a couple weeks at the Hall of Fame.

Somerhill Arlo x Rose Arbor Bre kits are 16 days old and heavy as bricks.  

See that slender piece of straw in the foreground of the pic?  I only got one chance at a photo because when I reached in to gently remove it from the pic, all h*ll broke loose.  Bunny screamed, and then all of them leaped in all directions, including out the open cage door.  Thankfully, I am prepared for such nonsense, and caught the little darling as it flew toward my head.    WHEW

 

Washington PA show results

 I decided to return to the Washington PA show after a few year's hiatus.    We had 15 Frosties entered.  For Show A,  Diana Keisel had BOS with her JR doe, and Lorry Jankowski had BOB with her SR buck. Judged by Nita Butler.   In show B, Linda Berkebile had BOB with her SR doe, and Lorry's SR buck was BOS.

Rose Arbor Ethne

Dori Smith wanted her doe, Blue Chip, back, so we traded for Bre.  She sweetened the pot by breeding her to GrCH Rose Arbor Mark, BIS at the first CF nationals and top pointed buck in the country before he was sold at auction for $1400 and took off for Alaska.  

I got a lovely litter from him; 3 bucks and 2 does.   I have retained 2 does;Ellen and Ethne, and a buck, Enzo.  The other 2 bucks are with dear friends so they are safe and available to me if needed.   Ellen has already won BOS 3 times for 3 JR legs in stiff competition.  This is lovely Ethne at 5 months.

Springfield show

 Fun with friends at the show in Springfield, OH today.  There were 23 Frosties entered by 7 exhibitors: 5 SR bucks, 4 SR does, 5 Jr bucks, and 9 Jr does. We had a great time, and Annette and I grabbed lunch/dinner together before we headed home.  Picture is of friends Nikki, (me), Annette and Lisa M.
