This little guy was sauntering around in the neighbor's yard. A sibling was nearby. This one got within 10 feet of my car, so I snapped his picture. He paid me no mind. Neither were bigger than an 8 week old kitten.
You know in a strange way that is exactly right. One day we were driving down the "hill" towards our place and in the culvert we saw a wave of black and white. Naturally, we says"what the heck is that"? Turns out if was a Moma skunk and her brood she was fixing to go into the culvert...but babies were uncertain about it. So she was coaxing them along it was one of those I wish I had a camera with me moments.
Oh Lisa pinch your nose! When I raised ferrets they lady of got my breeding stock from had pet skunks! They were really cute but I never could talk my parents into letting me get one. They were not smelly like wild one thought.
