The 4 white ones are all ermines. They have white wool, and blue/grey eyes. One has a smudge on its nose. The sire carries shaded recessively. I did not know for sure so I bred him to a REW to find out. Unfortunately, his breeder combined shaded with agouti, and I got a bunch of ermines. :^( I think Oleander is a blue tort, but that is really just a hunch. I'd need to test breed her to a blue or lilac tort to really know.
They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd VERY active!
ReplyDeleteNotice how white they are - no way any of them are pearls.
Precious! Can you tell what color the light ones are? Would it depend on eye color?
ReplyDeleteCan you tell from a litter like this what 'color' Oleander really is under her white coat?
I guess the tiny one didn't make it? :(
ReplyDeleteWhich one did you say was a tort? To my untrained eye all 4 of the light ones look pretty much alike?
The tort got dragged out of the nest and chilled. :^( The tiny one caught up with the rest, its just a bit smaller now.
