UARC Fall Wool/Skein/Garment contest

We had a great time at the 2 day show in Piketon, OH  this past weekend, and here are the results of the Wool/Skein/Garment contest that UARC held during the event.   First, thanks to Emily Ashton for judging and especially for taking the time to explain her placings.  We always learn something from her comments, which help us improve for the next time.

Catherine A Greenwood  put in a lot of effort with her entries, and it showed.  She had best skein, best wool and best garment, sweeping the awards.  Her garment entry was a pair of fingerless gloves that she spun, dyed, and knit from a pattern she made.

Best of the Best was the skein.

Many thanks to the other participants; Jen Richardson, Molly Callicoat, and me.

Best Garment - hand spun, hand dyed, knit fingerless gloves

Best of the Best  & best skein

Best wool is pictured along with all the other entries.
