 Unless the sex change fairy pays a visit, which is likely, we have 3 does.  These are from Knight & Kashi.  There is a REW, a chocolate tort, and a red.  All are reserved.  

Getting bigger!

 Knight and Kashi's kits are growing by leaps and bounds.   Here they are at 17 days of age.  They definitely got her RED rufus modifiers.  REW, chocolate tort, and red.  Don't ask me what sex yet.  LOL

 GrCH Somerhill Knights in White Satin x Morelia Rose Kashi (red) have 3, born 6-6-23.   Early SWAG is a chocolate, chocolate agouti, and REW.   She runs a tight ship; clean, dry nest, and was feeding them while I was doing the evening chores.

Somerhill Chickadee Litter

GrCH Somerhill Knights in White Satin x Somerhill Chickadee litter is now 4 weeks old. They are really starting to SHINE!

Hall of Fame results

 At the double angora specialty during the HUGE Hall of Fame shows this weekend, Somerhill Fugi was BOV(REW) in both shows for 2 legs.  Then on Sunday, we got called to the table before 8:30 so she stayed for Show A, and was BOB!    So she went home a grand champion for her new owner, BW Farms in Missouri.  Congrats, Cory!    Also in Show A, my broken red junior buck, Somerhill Baronet, was BOS for his first leg.

 

Freshly Minted!

GrCH Somerhill Knights in White Satin (rew) and Somerhill Chickadee (red) welcome 4 kits this morning.  

One month old

 They are 1 month old today.  Sired by Nor'easter, a chocolate agouti buck, out of GrCH Somerhill Silent Knight.   Red buck's trial name is Keeper of the Flame, and the REW doe is Halcyon.   He is so friendly, and loves to touch noses with me.  Also will not sit still.  She is a little lady, quiet and reserved, and sets up beautifully.

15 days old

 At 15 days, they are looking like bunnies now, and very fat.   I still think I have a red buck and REW doe.   He is very red, and has the red lap  marks and cream belly and other agouti marks that a red should have.   Now let's hope he has the type!

Introducing Somerhill Baronet

 He is 10 weeks old now, and just learning to pose and sit for grooming.  

SOLD: Woolers

Lightly marked broken red buck. Broken red doe.  Neither have nose markings , so not showable.  They will be available as woolers later in February.  If they are breeding quality, I will provide pedigrees.  

 

New Mama

 

When I checked her just after midnight, Somerhill Up in Flames had these all clean, dry, and well covered in wool.  She is a first timer, and is quite protective of the nest.  Here they are tonight - all fat and warm.  5 broken reds; the sire is Athens Marchese.   Flames has not been on the show table yet, but just wait - she will WOW you!

SOLD: Somerhill Roman Candle

Roman is 5 months old, born 7-4-22.  He is a broken red.  He has been shown several times, and has one GC leg.  He is sweet tempered and has loads of personality.    $75.
