MRR Winter Wonderland

Winnie is blowing coat, so is losing density, but I wanted to get a picture of her before I pluck that gorgeous, glittering white wool.

MORE New babies!

I am hopeful that these tiny ones will make it.  Shelby has them 2 days early, and they are very small, but seem strong, and she is a good, experienced mother.  I had to remove a gallon baggie full of wool from her nest as there was so much!   There are 2 blacks, & 4 copper/chestnuts.

MRR Winter Knight (rew) and Sloan's Stella welcome 4 newbies today.  There are 2 black agoutis, 1black, and an ermine.(or pearl?)  The agoutis could be chestnuts or chinchillas; we'll have to wait a week or 2 to find out.

 He is a year old now, and growing in a new coat after a recent plucking.  Love how bright red he has become.

 I registered her as a fawn, but she is looking rather red these days...   MRR Winter Knight x GrCH Somerhill Clementine.  She was just plucked a month ago, but I think she is going on the table soon!   What a rise and so wide!

 NFS - Knight got rave reviews from both judges Saturday at his first show.   MRR Winter Knight x Willowtree Bixby, he combines his sire's rock solid body with his dam's gorgeous coat and type.   He really has a presence on the show table.

 Anyone looking for a nice black pearl doe?   This is Somerhill Remoulade.  She is 13 months, registered, and freshly clipped, ready to breed.   She has extremely dense wool, good color and shading, lots of sheen.  Nice round butt, decent rise, good width, shoulders might be a bit long.  Sire:  GrCH Somerhill Remy  Dam: Greenleaves Esme (out of 2 Somerhill rabbits).   I want to keep her, but I am trying my best to cut back my herd to a reasonable number.   $100.00  Hurry up before I lose control and breed her!
