3 Weeks old

The kids are getting harder to photograph.  They are at that unruly stage; running around like the energizer bunny, never sitting still for more than an instant.  You line them up, and in the instant it takes the camera to snap the picture, someone moves.  Or even completely disappears from view.

2 weeks old now.

Brentwood and La Joya's kids now have their eyes open.  I'm pretty certain of 2 chocolate chins, and the third is a ? yet.  Sure does have silvery legs, and does not look like any chocolate agoutis ever born here.  But the chestnut/copper is also unusual looking, so we wait.   It is very very dark, with reddish highlights in the fur.  Hoping it stays like this as the wool grows in.  One of the reds is firey, and the other is less so.  The little black chinchilla is the leader of the pack.

10 days old

Brentwood and LaJoya's babies are 10 days old now.  I am certain of the 2 reds,
and there is a chinchilla and a chestnut/copper.   The 3 chocolates are still iffy.  I think
I have at least one chocolate chinchilla and the other 2 are probably chocolate agoutis.
One could still turn out to be a chin, though.   Their ears are up, and they definitely
can hear me now.  The eyes should begin opening this weekend.
